Donal's Camino Walk

Today was my difficult walk to Saugues, which wasn't difficult at all though I cilmbed up to 1200 Metres from 620 Metres. Making more friends like two French ladies, sisters, Violet and Marie, a Dutchman called Yann and Anne a German who is am amazing walker. She walked on one day what it took me 4 days. She is 38 years old but looks 25. I  also met Leon again. I met him first in the Chateaue of Saint - Privat.  He can only be described as a happy Travelling Minstrel.
Today was all uphill which took a lot of energy but underfoot was very rocky  for a lot of the walk which makes it  difficult and you have to watch every step.
I walked all the day on my own so I had plenty of time to think of what I am doing walking the Camino. The journey on the  Camino is the like the journey through life. Some places were very narrow with barbed wire fences on both sides so you had no choice but to travel straight ahead. I got lost twice but found my way again. Some places were easy and some difficult. Life is like that

Before I was heading off to bed I was invited by Leon and Yann to a music session in the common room. There was just the two musicians and a Belgian couple and myself but we didn't get to bed until 1.00 am. I had to sing as  well as I couldn't let the Irish  down. Halleluja went down a treat and Leon is going to include it in his repetoire.
