This photo shows Markus from Germany, sitting opposite his new wife, Christine, who is French and they were on their honeymoon walking part of the camino. Denise, who I think that I know forever, when in fact I know her for four days is on the right  in front of Christine.

Donal's Camino Walk

Walked from Lascabanes to Montlausan today, about 15km in all. Around Midway we passed through Montcuq which is half way between Le Puy and St Jean Pied de Port where most Irish people start so I have walked about 400 Km during the month. Denise and myself had a lovely lunch there to celebrate the half way point between Le Puy and St Jean Pied De Port.

Thanks to Chris and Eileen I have uploaded my Blog. More about this Chambre d,Hote later.

This was an amazing home to stay in. It was home from home, spotlessly clean, very friendly welcome and an excellent meal in the evening.
Starter was Melon and Ham (not correct word for what we had but will correct it later) Main course Roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots chicken and a lovely sauce.    Desert was Bread and butter pudding, and boy was that good- best I ever tasted and double helpings of whatever you wanted. We also had fabulous cheeses and salad.
Eileen and Chris's home was a converted old church and it definitely had a serene spiritual feel to it. I couldn't explain it but I felt very emotional while I was there.
