Its important that I am as fit as possible starting my Camino Walk. I will be using my Hillwalking every two weeks to prepare me and local walks in Kildare, Dublin and Wicklow.
Two weeks ago I was on the Mountains of Mourne, with the Lugs Hillwalking Club.We climbed Sliabh Binnion (750 M) on a lovely sunny day.
Last Saturday I was on the Spinc walk in Glendalough in Co. Wicklow. I am learning a lot about myself on these walks and it is showing up my weak points which I will have to improve on.
Other days I am using local(Naas) walks to build up my strength.
